Judging field trial in Italy

About Tibea Gundogs

Tibea Gundogs was first established in 1964 by my late Father, also named Robin Watson, and my Mother Marlene. He was an 'A' Panel judge and made up 2 Field Trial Champions of his own, namely FTCH Oday Alice of Tibea and FTCH Tibea Topaz who was a daughter of Alice.

He also won trials with several other dogs both Novice and Open. They also bred several other Field Trial Winners/Champions which were owned and run by other people the most well known being Tibea Tosh.

I took over the Tibea Gundog affairs in 1988 when my Father died and have been running it ever since. I was running it as an amateur handler until I turned professional in 1995. I trialled my first dog Field Trail Winner Tibea Cid in 1988. I have been trialling ever since - both my own and clients dogs.

I have had much success and made up my first FTCH in 2003, namely FTCH Whitmill Ecylpse of Tibea, and I have just made up in 2009 FTCH Brackenbird Minnow. I have a few young dogs that I am hoping to run during the season of 2010.

I am an 'A' panel judge and am a Member of the Kennel Club.
